Ingredients
- 500g lamb shoulder, cut into cubes
- 500g Greek yogurt
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon chopped oregano
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, eggs, and flour until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large ovenproof dish, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add the lamb cubes and oregano, and cook until browned on all sides.
- Season with salt, pepper, and chopped fresh dill.
- Pour the yogurt mixture over the lamb in the dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the yogurt topping is set and lightly golden.
- Serve hot, accompanied by crusty bread or rice.
